Title: The Return
Medium: Acrylics on cotton watercolour paper
Size: A3 or approximately 11.5”x16.5”

So glad this one is finally done! :D Really happy with the outcome and feeling a bit more confident with acrylics, and that’s always nice. ;)

Would love to know your thoughts on this. What do you see? What do you think is happening?

Two 8x10 canvas boards on the left and two 16x20 stretched canvases on the right - all ready for painting after multiple layers of gesso and sanding! :D Not one of my favourite things to do, but kind of necessary for a nice surface to paint on.

No real plans for three of them, but one of the 16x20 canvases will have dragons very, very soon. ;) http://ift.tt/1pFnRAg

Background is finished! :D You can’t really make out the returning knights but that’s phone cameras for you. :P This will be the last progress shot you see before it’s finished. There’s only the people to go now anyway. ;) http://ift.tt/1pFnRAg

I sketched an elf in a forest with a sword because…..just because. :P Still needs some work, but once I finish a couple of other things this one will be painted in acrylics. :)

Elves are fun to sketch! ;) http://ift.tt/1pFnRAg

After receiving some great advice from friends, I fixed up the sketch for Oath Keeper. :) Still very sketchy and messy but that’s just how I roll. :P Also working on colour ideas. At the moment I’m drawn to the top left and bottom right. Which colour composition do you prefer?
